Supervise the daily operation of the Aquatics Department by maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Leadership schedules, In-service trainings, and department trainings.
- Internal auditing of programs and procedures.
- Assist with Guest concerns and questions.
- Monitor operating expense budgets.
- Coordinate employee relations activities.
- Review incident reports.
- Serve as the Aquatics Duty Manager in the absence of the Aquatics Full-Time Supervisor, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.
- Provide an environment that motivates and encourages staff retention.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by Full-Time Management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: 18
- Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Typical weekly schedule includes at least 5 shifts. Must have availability during pre-season training as well.
- Must obtain, and maintain a Lifeguard Instructor license. This includes passing all applicable certification tests.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills
- Basic Computer and math skills
- Prior experience at an aquatics facility is preferred.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
