This is a seasonal position that is vacant.
Responsibilities:
- Perform alterations and repairs to uniform items including: hemming pants; cresting garments; altering garment sizes; reinforcing seams; and repairs to damaged uniform items.
- Assist with associate uniform fittings
- Perform special sewing projects for park operation such as heavy-duty stitching, special design items, and worn material repair
- Perform laundry duties
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- You
- Previous sewing related experience required
- Experience with industrial machines is required (i.e. straight stitch, blind stitch, serger, and walking foot machines and machine embroidery)
- Demonstrate a professional manner
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Detail/quality oriented and self-motivated
- Highly organized and flexible
- Able to work "ON CALL" 1- 3 shifts per week and during weekends. Flexible to work early morning and evenings shifts.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc.)
