$26.00 / hour

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years. The starting wage for this position is $26/hr and may vary based on experience.

You’ll also… 

  • Work with Manager, Corporate and Internal partners planning and executing all creative services for events and programs
  • Assist with planning, budgeting, purchasing and reporting as needed
  • Oversee design team and technical team to ensure all plans are within budget and executed effectively
  • Responsible to hire, train, and supervisor all staff in assigned area
  • Ensure proper adherence to all current departmental procedures and to all current Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
  • Responsible for the set-up, execution/operation, and strike of events within the park
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining all departmental resources and facilities
  • Delegate, implement and document all new projects as assigned

Qualifications:
  • You!
  • Candidates that have a post-secondary degree or diploma in technical theatre with major studies in technical direction and/or significant experience in a related technical field
  • Knowledge of design, carpentry, audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment required
  • Advanced computer literacy is required
  • Competency with tools and equipment
  • Previous management experience is required
  • Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract
  • Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear
  • Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holidays
