- Oversee the daily operations of the communication/dispatch area
- Assist with hiring, training, coaching and performance management for Dispatch team
- Work alongside Dispatchers to receive and dispatch emergency calls by telephone and radio
- Respond to internal and external telephone calls
- Transfer information to the appropriate person in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
- Ensure appropriate and thorough documentation of multi-dispatch calls
- Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:
- You!
- Candidates enrolled in or graduate of an Emergency Telecommunications or 911 Communications program or possess equivalent work experience
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to identify issues and problem solve effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Individuals that are highly organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Previous experience with multi-line phone systems is an asset
- Availability to work flexible hours, including late evenings and on weekends and holidays
- Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc.)
