- Conduct inspections throughout the park to identify and correct potential workplace hazards, and to ensure compliance with company safety policies and provincial safety legislation
- Conduct and document accident investigations
- Manage WSIB claims which includes following up with injured associates, arranging modified duties, completing and submitting reports, and providing regular updates to WSIB on individual claims
- Conduct accident investigations and complete reports for the TSSA
- Maintain the park’s WHMIS database and address questions regarding Safety Data Sheets and labeling of products
- Assist with projects related to Occupational Health & Safety, including noise, lighting and temperature assessments
- Perform administrative and reception duties at the Health Centre
- Participate on the park’s Joint Health & Safety Committee

Qualifications:
- You!
- Someone currently enrolled in/or a graduate of a post-secondary Occupational Health and Safety program
- Experience with managing WSIB claims and JHSC certification is preferred
- Someone who possesses excellent organizational and administrative skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear
- Someone that is able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holidays
