Entertainment Team Lead - Usher program

$19.75/ hour

This is a Part-time position. Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age and meet the requirements listed below.

You’ll also…

• Coordinate and supervisor the daily operations of all Show and Event Usher Programs to ensure a high-level of guest service and a positive guest experience
• Assist with the interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management of ushers through pre-season and operation
• Responsible for assisting with implementation of effective crowd management plans, completing daily reports of attendance, and maintaining facility and program documentation to ensure all information is current
• Ensure effective communication with contracted Special Event groups
• Introduce new ideas in collaboration with management and the usher program, and communicate daily to maintain a positive work environment
• Ensure that all Ushers are treated fairly and have a positive working experience
• Abide by all Canada’s Wonderland policies and procedures as set out by the park and the Entertainment Department
• Ensure that all safety standards and practices are met
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities as assigned
• Assist with other duties as required

• Candidates that are a minimum of 18 years of age
• Individuals enrolled in or a graduate of a post-secondary institution
• Strong computer literacy skills with experience in using Microsoft Excel, and Word is required
• Someone who is organized with proven leadership & communication skills as well as excellent people management & guest service skills
• Previous park experience and must be able to stand for extended periods of time (an asset)
• Candidates that are able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
