Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure the safety of the facilities department by developing, reviewing, and revising operating procedures.
  • Oversee the implementation of park and department policies and procedures
  • Maintain documentation of training certifications, maintenance and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain daily operation and rehab projects.
  • Lead and schedule all assigned facilities shops to ensure all work assignments are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Preparing and coordinating all tools, equipment, and materials required for projects.
  • Working to continuously improve employee morale
  • Handling team member questions and concerns.
  • Lead, discipline, motivate and manage staff to achieve department goals.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • Experience in leading the team with projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong motivational, leadership, and team building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation.
  • Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.
  • An enthusiastic, professional, and positive attitude and enjoy working with people.
  • Valid CA driver license.
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment (cleaning equipment, tractor, sweeper truck, etc.)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
