Overview:

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking aseasonal Maintenance and Engineering Administrator. This is an on-site enterprise park support role is based out of Los Angeles County, California, at Six Flags Magic Mountain. This role supports the VP of Maintenance and Engineering in advancing attraction reliability and strengthening maintenance programs by reviewing, comparing, editing, organizing and communicating company policies, procedures, specifications, and standards across the parks.


Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Six Flags technical committees and focus groups, to assist with documenting best practices, technical specifications that strengthen alignment among park maintenance programs.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute maintenance policies and procedures, and correspondence.
  • Assist the development team with comparisons, revisions, and technical content to align preventative maintenance checklists for similar attractions within the computerized maintenance management system (Mobaro).
  • Develop and maintain archival databases for equipment components, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Compile maintenance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and productivity reports for management reviews.
  • Develop and maintain archival repositories for confidential engineering and operational records.
  • Assist with document control, including revision tracking and distribution of engineering drawings, procedures, and manuals.
  • Assist with inserting, running reports, and tracking action item lists created by third party inspections and maintenance audits.
  • Work with park maintenance leadership to support database development of ride maintenance requirements, weld procedures, lift chains, hydraulic restraint cylinders.
  • Assist with facilitating appropriate communication and retention of relevant manufacturer bulletins.
  • Support for maintenance programs document control, records retention, and database updates related to ride assets, shared components, mechanical systems, and maintenance information.
  • Coordinate with parks to document, submit, and obtain approvals for Engineering Change Requests related to ride mechanical system modifications.
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain professional communication with internal departments.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned in support of the Maintenance and Engineering Department.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Familiar with applicable safety standards, industry practices, and regulatory requirements, including ASTM F24.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
