Req ID 32570The Public Safety Division has seasonal opportunity for an environmental services attendant. This position will ensure that water quality, cleanliness, accidental spill clean-up and environmental impact mitigation processes are in place and addressed.
Some highlights of this position are that as long as you complete assigned tasks – it is a very independent position, shifts do not fluctuate with Park operating hours and usually have weekends off, unless testing needs to be done during the weekend.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES: (This is only a summary of responsibilities and not meant to be exhaustive of all duties.)
Ø Prepare and conduct water quality sampling and testing.
Ø Clean outdoor fresh water drains and channels from leaves and debris.
Ø Conducting environmental audits such as secondary containment, spill containment kits etc.
Ø Maintain spill control supplies and inventory.
Ø Respond to spills and leaks throughout the Park.
Ø Observe and report suspicious activity or non-compliance to Public Safety Supervision/Management.
Ø Communicate information to supervision/management in a clear, timely and productive manner.
Ø Provide excellent service and assist guests and fellow team members with directions or questions.
Ø Maintain a high level of privacy and confidentiality.
Ø Wearing proper PPE to include gloves, goggles, masks, etc while handling chemicals.
Ø Other duties to support the Park at the discretion of Public Safety Supervision/Management.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS: (This is only a summary of qualifications not meant to be exhaustive of all qualifications)
Ø Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ø Must possess a State Driver’s License in good standing at all times.
Ø Must have strong self-motivation, work ethic and a positive attitude.
Ø Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch and for extended periods of time.
Ø Must be able to work in direct sun, outdoors, in the heat/rain and other environmental elements.
Ø Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
Ø Must be able to adhere to following SDS and proper PPE usage while handling chemicals.
Ø Must be available to work days, nights, overnight, weekends and holidays.
