The EMS Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Six Flags EMS division. This role will providein-field guidance to providers and coordinate responses from outside agencies. The EMS supervisor will serve as the primary liaison between park/department leadership.
Pay Rate: $22.50-$25.20
Responsibilities:
- Respond tomedical emergencies andassistwith clinical guidance where needed
- Provide oversight during daily operations to ensure operational readiness
- Monitor patient care interactions and provide quality assurance/quality improvement, as well as ensuring that associates are adhering to the medical director's standing medical protocols
- Utilize safety documentation/EHS platform to conduct audits,monitorstaff documentation,assistwith claims, and conduct safety investigations
- Conduct performance evaluations andassistwith hiring, onboarding, and training of EMTs
- Oversees completion of associate availability and creating monthly schedule
- Promote a culture of safety and risk mitigation within EMS operations
- Prepare reports and communicate operational issues to leadership
- Assistin developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
- Participate in medical skills evaluations and continuing education activities
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must be customer service oriented, friendly, and work with other departments
- Must be licensed or certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services or NREMT as either an EMT or Paramedic
- Must have at least one calendar year of experience working as an EMT/Paramedic within the department
Schedule
- 8-10 hours shifts
- Dayshift
- Weekends
- Holidays
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in public safety, security,or emergency dispatch.
- Knowledge of radio communication protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Background in guest service or high-volume public venues.
- Licensed Paramedic with at least one year of field experience
- Supervisor experience within the EMS field
