Job Description:

The Area Manager, Food & Beverage – Administration and In-Park leads both the daily operation and administrative performance of the Food & Beverage division. This role oversees a portfolio of in‑park quick‑serve locations, bars, mobile units, and the F&B administration office, ensuring exceptional guest service, strong operational execution, accurate systems management, and organizational efficiency. The Area Manager supports scheduling, compliance documentation, reports, inventory coordination, and internal communication processes while also coaching seasonal leaders, improving operational readiness, and partnering with the Food & Beverage Manager on financial and strategic goals.
Success in this role is defined by administrative accuracy, operational consistency, labor and cost performance, regulatory readiness, and the effectiveness of communication and systems that support the overall F&B department.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily operations for assigned in‑park locations and the F&B administration office, ensuring readiness, staffing efficiency, and smooth workflow.
  • Oversee administrative processes including scheduling support, labor reporting, inventory documentation, invoice routing, and compliance file maintenance.
  • Deliver consistent food quality, order accuracy, and speed‑of‑service standards across all assigned outlets.
  • Conduct regular inspections of both in‑park locations and admin office functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with F&B standards.
  • Train, coach, and develop seasonal leaders, providing clear performance expectations and ongoing feedback.
  • Implement and reinforce SOPs for administrative tasks, food safety, sanitation, guest service, and operational readiness.
  • Support forecasting, labor planning, and staffing alignment based on attendance trends and operating schedules.
  • Manage cost controls by ensuring accurate inventory documentation, proper waste logging, portioning standards, and adherence to recipe specifications.
  • Assist with catered event support where needed, including documentation prep, staffing coordination, and guest‑service support.
  • Respond professionally to guest and team feedback, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Maintain strong record‑keeping for inspections, food safety certifications, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Support budgeting, financial reviews, and administrative reporting with timely, accurate information.
  • Flex to meet operational demands including weekends, evenings, holidays, and peak periods.
  • Perform additional duties aligned with the operational and administrative needs of the Food & Beverage division.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in food service, quick‑serve, multi‑unit operations, catering, or hospitality.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with experience working in scheduling tools, reporting platforms, inventory systems, or back‑office processes.
  • Experience overseeing high‑volume food operations and supporting daily execution in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to develop, train, and coach seasonal leaders; strong communication and follow‑up skills.
  • Solid knowledge of health department regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety practices; ServSafe Food Manager and ServSafe Alcohol (or ability to obtain).
  • Comfortable with POS systems, administrative software, and operational reporting tools; data‑driven decision maker.
  • Strong collaboration abilities and experience partnering with Maintenance, Finance, HR, and operational leadership.
  • Ability to work outdoors, stand for extended periods, and lift/move products as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Hospitality or Business coursework preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
