Overview:

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is looking for an organized and dedicated individual to join the Entertainment Theatre Usher Team. As a Theatre Usher, you will be responsible for helping open and close our theatres, cleaning, and maintaining our theatres for shows and special events. You will also be responsible for assisting our guests as they enter and exit our theatres. Other duties might include, assisting with our seasonal parades, prepping venues for show productions or special events, and other projects as assigned. This individual will work closely with the Theatre Usher Team and with their assigned Theatre Stage Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Our theatre ushers, with the help of our theatre stage managers, are responsible for guest safety in the theatre before, during, and after the show performance.
  • Maintain and ensure the cleanliness of the theatre and the surrounding areas to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests.
  • Provide information to the guests concerning our show product and general knowledge of Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
  • Greet guests as they enter the theatre area, assist with guest seating, venue cleaning, and assist with stroller parking.
  • Keep accurate count of guest attendance at shows. Relay show count information to your Stage Manager.
  • Work with your Stage Manager, Lead, and fellow crew members to accomplish set goals and duties that have been assigned.
  • Work with your Stage Manager or Lead to open and close the theatre/ venue area as needed.
  • Assist in show operation, as needed. This may involve assisting with selecting guest participants for audience participation segments.

Qualifications:
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to be hired as an Entertainment Employee.
  • Must demonstrate ability to perform in or around theatrical lighting and effects, including darkness, haze, loud noises (fireworks), and occasional strobe lighting effects.
  • Must be able to work outdoors during evening hours in various weather conditions.
  • Must be available for any required training dates (schedule conflicts must be pre-approved).
  • Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
