This role is perfect for someone with strong kitchen experience, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering great guest experiences through food.
As a Senior Kitchen Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the back-of-house operations across multiple quick-service food locations in the park. From maintaining food quality and safety to supervising a diverse team of employees, you’ll be a key player in keeping our kitchens running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Training
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to ensure strong teamwork and professional growth.
- Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-job coaching and feedback.
- Develop and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure all team members understand and follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
Operational Management
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain kitchen efficiency during peak times by managing workflow and staff rotations.
- Ensure accurate portion control and adherence to all recipe guidelines.
- Manage kitchen opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, and equipment checks.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce all local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health codes.
- Conduct regular food safety and equipment inspections to ensure compliance.
- Ensure proper food storage, temperature control, and allergen awareness.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Track inventory and place timely food and supply orders to prevent shortages.
- Monitor and minimize food waste through effective prep and portion control.
- Assist with menu planning, product rotation, and seasonal item adjustments.
- Work with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Guest Experience Support
- Collaborate with front-of-house supervisors to ensure timely food service and guest satisfaction.
- Respond quickly to food quality concerns or complaints and resolve them professionally.
- Lead by example in maintaining a guest-first mindset throughout all kitchen operations.
What You’ll Need:
- At least 2 years of kitchen leadership experience (multi-unit preferred)
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended operating hours
