This is a Flexible Part-Time position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, offering up to 29 hours per week year-round at a pay rate of $14 per hour. Responsibilities:
As an Events & Communications Assistant, you will support the Events & Communications Specialist in bringing employee experiences to life across the park. This entry-level role is perfect for someone creative, energetic, and eager to learn. You’ll help capture and share the story of our team through social media, photography, and video while assisting in the planning and execution of employee events that build engagement and morale.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
- Assist with planning, coordinating, marketing and executing employee events and engagement activities
- Capture photos and videos of events, team members, and park experiences
- Support social media posting, content creation, and scheduling
- Help maintain a consistent and engaging voice across internal communication platforms
- Set up and break down event materials, décor, and supplies
- Interact with team members to promote participation and engagement
- Collaborate with departments and vendors to support park-wide initiatives and events
- Assist with additional communication or engagement projects as needed
Qualifications:
- No prior experience required – we will train the right candidate
- Strong interest in social media, photography, or event planning
- Positive attitude with high energy and creativity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High School diploma/equivalent or currently enrolled preferred
