WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The ESIX Sports Arena Supervisor oversees the operations of our state-of-the-art e-sports and gaming attraction—bringing next-level hospitality to competitive play. This role is about more than managing an arena: it’s about setting a tone of inclusion, high energy, professionalism, and fun. You'll lead your team with integrity, inspire through action, and ensure every player—from first-time guest to hardcore competitor—has an experience worth remembering.

As a visible, approachable leader, you are responsible for fostering a space that’s exciting, welcoming, and guest-centered. You’ll be hands-on—mentoring team members, resolving technical issues, managing events, and creating moments that connect gaming culture with world-class service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead with Integrity and Respect

  • Supervise all aspects of ESIX Arena operations, maintaining high standards for behavior, appearance, safety, and fairness.
  • Treat every guest and team member with professionalism and kindness. Address concerns quickly and constructively to protect the guest experience and team morale.
  • Enforce and model policies consistently and ethically.

Set the Example

  • Show up engaged, focused, and ready to work. Model a guest-first mindset in every interaction—whether assisting with a login issue or supporting a team member during a high-volume shift.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, preparedness, and adaptability to encourage accountability across the team.

Build and Support a Strong Team

  • Identify team members’ strengths and interests, assign tasks strategically, and create opportunities for growth.
  • Provide clear direction and consistent, positive feedback.
  • Train new hires and mentor existing staff to ensure they feel confident and valued.
  • Encourage collaboration and maintain an inclusive environment where everyone feels like they belong.

Communicate Clearly and Kindly

  • Keep your team informed about shift plans, event logistics, technical updates, and guest needs.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful tone—even during busy or high-pressure moments.
  • Promote open dialogue, encourage questions, and welcome feedback from team members and guests.

Inspire Through Action

  • Lead the setup and execution of daily activities and special events (tournaments, themed nights, casual competitions), ensuring each experience feels dynamic and well-organized.
  • Connect your team’s responsibilities to the bigger picture: guest satisfaction, team pride, and innovation in theme park entertainment.
  • Bring passion and focus to your shifts, especially during high-energy events.

Take Ownership

  • Monitor equipment and address technical issues quickly to reduce guest disruption.
  • Maintain an orderly arena: ensure stations are sanitized, inventory is stocked, and areas are guest-ready at all times.
  • Proactively solve problems, anticipate operational needs, and follow through on commitments.

Develop Yourself and Others

  • Stay current with gaming trends, streaming platforms, and e-sports developments. Share your knowledge with your team and incorporate new ideas into guest experiences.
  • Encourage team members to grow—whether by learning new systems, improving guest interaction skills, or leading mini events.
  • Accept feedback and apply it to your leadership development.

Be Present and Reliable

  • Maintain availability for weekends, holidays, and high-attendance days.
  • Be a visible leader in the arena—available to support team members, resolve guest issues, and model service excellence in action.
  • Lead with consistency and dependability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior leadership experience in e-sports, gaming lounges, entertainment, hospitality, or retail
  • Deep understanding of gaming culture and familiarity with platforms like Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Discord, Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation
  • Ability to plan and run events, tournaments, or community activations
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Comfortable handling technical troubleshooting of gaming hardware/software
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and high-volume days
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

BONUS SKILLS (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)

  • Experience working in gaming cafes, E-Sports arenas, or LAN centers
  • Background in youth leadership, coaching, or mentorship
  • Social media or content creation skills
  • Retail or food & beverage operations experience
