WHAT WE PROVIDE
This is a year- round position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:
The Entertainment Design Technician supports the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of show elements used in park entertainment, special events, and seasonal offerings. This role works closely with the Entertainment Design Shop and Entertainment teams to help bring creative concepts to life while maintaining safety and quality standards.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, finishing, and repair of entertainment props and scenic elements
- Support installation and ongoing maintenance of entertainment design assets throughout the park
- Perform basic touch-ups, repairs, and upkeep of show elements as directed
- Safely operate hand tools and shop equipment following park safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop and onsite
- Collaborate with Entertainment, Technical Services, and Operations teams to meet production and event timelines
- Comply with all Six Flags policies, safety guidelines, and departmental procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in entertainment, theater, scenic fabrication, events, or technical production preferred
- Basic familiarity with hand tools; willingness to learn additional fabrication and installation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
OTHER NOTES
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work in shop environments, backstage areas, and occasionally at heights
