Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain hotel facilities and structures in regard to painting of buildings, and wood structures
- Self-starter with an eye for detail
- Make recommendations to leadership on project work and needs
- Responsible to perform basic carpentry work in conjunction with repairs and painting projects
- Keep all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed
- Promote a safe working environment, abiding by all safety guidelines and procedures
- Work requires extensive detail and edge work
- Keep all work areas clean and free of debris
Qualifications:
- Must possess practical painting skills for buildings.
- Must have a basic knowledge of carpentry, including drywall repairs
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record
- Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and may frequently lift and/or move 70 pounds. Specific vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus required.
