Responsibilities:
- Interacts with guests and associates to proactively identify suspicion indicators, assess threat potential, and engage in security interviewing to deter and prevent malicious acts.
- Serves as a general security presence and deterrent to crime and rule infractions while assigned to a fixed post.
- Utilizes quick decision-making skills and sound judgement to respond to and address situations beyond the capabilities of unarmed security associates.
- Requests assistance of law enforcement as necessary.
- Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guests or working with fellow associates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current OPOTC 20-hour firearms certification and provide 2 letters of recommendation.
- Ability to pass a BCI and FBI background check.
- Successful completion of the OPOTC firearms course and practical exam before their first day of work

- Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work at least 4 days a week.
