Job Summary:

The Sanitation supervisor will be directly responsible for conducting sanitation audits daily as well all Serv Safe and Sanitation Basics training property wide. This includes but not limited to annual re-certification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly internal sanitation audits
  • Proactively complete team coaching and development
  • Management, input, and track annual certification
  • Conduct kitchen and catering area sanitation walks
  • Complete NFP annual training and monthly refresher courses
  • Weekly report outs utilizing Safety Culture in line with Diversey standards
  • Adhere and enforce compliance on all Food and Beverage Operations and Company Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure compliance with local Health Department sanitation guidelines and codes
  • Maintain paperwork documentation regarding inspection checklists, training checklists, and labor monitoring, including paperwork completed
  • Monitor team member demeanor and performance; reward, motivate, and/or reprimand as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience in Culinary Services department or theme park leadership experience. 
  • Must possess a friendly and positive attitude. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions while on foot for long periods of time. 
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a clear understanding of Windows based software including Word, Excel, GroupWise, and Access.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma.
  • Have an enthusiastic and positive Guest First Orientation and enjoy working with people.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Be able to respond immediately and adapt to all emergency situations.
  • Have a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have flexible schedule to work nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays when needed.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours at a time. Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and able to operate a motor vehicle.

Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
