Are you a storyteller with a passion for building buzz and making connections? Join our Marketing team as a year-round Public Relations Coordinator and help engage and monitor traditional and influencer media and motivate them to share our parks’ brand stories and experiences! This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in public relations, media and influencer outreach, charity/community partnerships and event coordination, all while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage the Community: Respond to media inquiries, coordinate press and influencer visits, and assist with evaluation and execution of charitable programs and events.
  • Craft the Message: Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, blogs, and other PR materials to promote park attractions and initiatives.
  • Coordinate Events: Plan and execute media events, press conferences, VIP/media days, ensuring smooth logistics and memorable experiences.
  • Track Success: Monitor media coverage, analyze influencer performance, and measure campaign impact.
  • Support Internal Communication: Help ensure consistent messaging across teams by coordinating internal communications.

Qualifications:

What You’ll Need:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant industry or communications professional experience.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, etc.) and basic content creation.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for the entertainment or theme park industry is a big plus!
  • Basic understanding of public relations and media relations strategies.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for events and media coverage.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check if 18 or older.
