Req ID EMSSU014187The EMS Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the medical care of all Guests and Employees of Six Flags Great Adventure Resort. This role oversees the daily operations of the Emergency Medical Services at the Theme Park, Safari and Hurricane Harbor. The EMS Supervisor ensures timely and professional response, scene management, and customer service.
What You Will Be Doing
- Direct and communicate tasks and directions to the EMTs.
- Coordinate calls for service and provide assistance when needed.
- Responsible for all recruiting, interviewing, and training of new EMTs.
- Conduct performance reviews of EMTs.
- Responsible for handling any tasks (Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Supplies, etc.) issued by Management.
- Have knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
- Responsible for the handling of guest complaints both in person and through the Guest Services system Salesforce.
- Communicate with other Six Flags Department Management for information on park operations.
- Ensure compliance with all New Jersey State Department of Health protocols.
- Attend and complete all leadership training as required by Six Flags or directed by Management.
What You Will Need
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must possess a valid New Jersey State or National Registry EMT Certification.
- Must possess a valid CPR Certification.
- Must have a minimum of one year experience in the Six Flags Safety Dept. or within the Park.
- Must possess ICS 100, 200 (In person), 700, 800, CEVO.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Five years or more “9-1-1 EMS Experience”.
- PHTLS / ITLS.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- CEVO.
