Req ID 33234An Administrative Supervisor works in the center hub of the division to ensure proper communication throughout the division while also being knowledgeable in a variety of position in the Operations departments.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attend required Human Resources Discovery, Rides Department training, and specific ride training.
• Successfully complete the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course through General Rides Training.
• Obtain certification for Attendant and Operator positions on all rides as assigned by Senior Leadership.
• Successfully complete and pass the Rides Leadership Training Program which includes becoming a certified iROC Trainer.
• Provide courteous greetings and answer any Team Member questions. Respond to and resolve Team Member
comments whenever possible.
• Pick up mail and distribute as needed.
• Ensure all Team Members are supplied with proper supplies and equipment to perform their job duties
• Answer telephone calls, transfer calls, take messages, and provide accurate information.
• Record all pertinent daily records.
• Use the base station to communicate with In-Park Personnel, communicate downtime information, and monitor radio traffic.
• Be prepared to respond and assist by making appropriate telephone and base calls in emergency situations.
• File daily forms and paperwork as needed and maintain all files in an orderly manner.
• Assist all Operations Division Team Members in a professional manner.
• Keep all information and documents confidential.
• Use office equipment such as computers and copiers.
• Enter corrective action into service log database and follow-up tracking.
• Complete employee suspensions and communicate with Full-Time Supervisors and Human Resources.
• Update spreadsheets to track progression of paperwork and ensure completion of projects.
• Modify employee shift punches to ensure proper break times are reflected on timesheets.
• Clean work areas as needed.
• Facilitate the Fast Lane program.
• Complete office and ride certification tests with 100% proficiency.
• Work in any trained positions for the Operations Division as needed.
• Complete Witness Statements as needed.
• Report any unsafe acts to your Supervisor.
• Perform Unit Supervisor and Team Member duties as needed.
• May be asked to assist in the Ride Information Center.
• May be asked to assist in the Guest Relations Office resolving guest situations and assisting with Fast Lane program inquiries and activations.

• Minimum Age: 16
• Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays where at least 50% of an individual’s availability must include closing shifts.
• Successfully complete and pass the Rides Leadership Training Program
• Must possess above average communication skills.
• Must react well in stressful and emergency situations.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 5 hours at a time and as many as 16 hours a day.
• Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day over various surfaces.
• May be exposed to: heights, spinning objects or moving water.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
