Carpenter Assistant - Part Time with Benefits - $20.89/HR

Assisting our Full-Time Carperter Team as they work on building, repairing, and maintain coasters, buildings, and fixtures throughout the park.

Must be 18 years or older. This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits and Paid Time Off.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect wooden coasters
• Remodel restaurants and retail shops
• Build dock boxes
• Repair queue rails and other fences
• Ability to work with tile, ceiling, wall, floor.
• Replace broken windows.
• Repair or replace hardware
• Have knowledge of shop tools, build cabinets
• Signs, build and hang them in many different situations
• Be able to drive a series of different park vehicles
• Install signs and banners
• Repair outside furniture
• Help with Snow Removal
• Comply with all Six Flags safety and fire responsibilities, policies, and procedures
• Adhere to park attendance policy as stated in the Six Flags handbook
• Follow and complete all delegated tasks deemed by management
• Adhere to Six Flags standards of appearance

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Age: 18
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Have knowledge of basic carpentry skills
• Not afraid of heights, use hi-lifts and ladders
• Availability: Day shift (7AM-3PM) including weekends. Summer schedule 6AM to 2:30PM. And Evenings
• Able to work holidays
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
