Responsibilities:
Assist with plumbing maintenance. Responsible for pool cleanliness, water quality in Waterpark.
- Operate wash and rapid sand filters.
- Test pool water and maintain records.
- Control the free, total, combined chlorine level and pH using appropriate chemicals.
- Sweeps and cleans pool areas (to include grates in the pool) throughout the facility using broom, mop, brush, vacuum, squeegee or hand, stores equipment and supplies in proper place.
- Monitors and takes action to ensure attraction, location and back area cleanliness.
- Clean "kiddy play" structures to remove oxidation and maintain the appearance of these structures.
- Swim in depths of 3' to 8' to clean sides and bottom of pool areas.
- Move pumps from storage area to work location.
- Scrub pool tile to remove scum and build up.
- Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Six FlagsĀ attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags attendance policies.
- Adheres to Six FlagsĀ Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to supply and use general maintenance tools
- Ability to demonstrate general mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
- Driver's License
