Carowinds is searching high and low for the creepiest scare actors this side of the grave to join the Carolinas' largest Halloween event- SCarowinds! Positions are currently available for those who are 16 or older.
Responsibilities:
As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team, daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as:
· Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise
· Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable
· Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror
· Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned.
· Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters

- Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability.

- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations.
- Ability to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up.
- Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.
- Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
