Six Flags is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our dynamic team at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, a leading theme park company dedicated to delivering world-class entertainment and unforgettable guest experiences. The Copywriter will play a key role in crafting compelling and engaging content that captures the fun, excitement, and adventure of our theme parks across multiple consumer-facing marketing channels.


Responsibilities:
  • Creative Content Development: Write engaging copy for a variety of platforms, including advertisements, websites, social media, email campaigns, brochures, park signage, scripts, and promotional materials.
  • Brand Storytelling: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to convey our brand’s voice, personality, and storytelling vision across all communication channels.
  • Campaign Support: Develop high-impact messaging for marketing campaigns, events, attractions, and seasonal promotions.
  • Audience Engagement: Craft copy that resonates with diverse audiences, ranging from families and thrill-seekers to corporate groups and tourists.
  • SEO Optimization: Write and optimize digital content to enhance visibility and search engine rankings, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies driven by various internal/external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Ideation: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm creative concepts that align with project goals and timelines.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all copy is polished, error-free, and adheres to brand guidelines and style standards.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Copywriter, preferably within the entertainment, travel, or hospitality industries.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong ability to adapt tone and style to match brand voice and target audience.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO best practices, and social media trends.
  • A portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples, including storytelling and promotional content.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and craft memorable narratives.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in scriptwriting or storytelling for multimedia formats (e.g., video, audio, interactive displays).
