Req ID 31273The Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of assigned aquatics locations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, training compliance, operational efficiency, and guest experience. This role provides leadership and direction to Aquatics Team Leaders and supports Lifeguard Instructors during training operations, while maintaining readiness for internal and third-party audits. The Aquatics Supervisor monitors operational needs, staffing efficiency, and performance trends, and serves as a key leadership presence in supporting the department’s safety culture and business objectives.
Salary Details: $24/hr. (Rehire)/$23/hr (New Hire)
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily operational oversight of aquatics areas, overseeing multiple Team Leaders and supporting Lifeguard Instructors during training operations as applicable
- Ensure consistent compliance with Ellis & Associates standards, internal procedures, and safety protocols
- Monitor staffing levels and operational coverage to ensure alignment with business needs and prevent unnecessary overstaffing or inefficiencies
- Support scheduling efforts as needed, including adjustments based on attendance, training needs, and operational demands
- Coach, mentor, and support Aquatics Team Leaders through observation, feedback, and performance guidance
- Maintain audit readiness at all times, including documentation accuracy, procedural adherence, and operational discipline
- Support training quality by observing instruction, reinforcing standards, and ensuring proper certification compliance
- Participate in performance discussions and provide input on Team Leader promotions and leadership development decisions
- Address operational challenges in real time, including guest concerns, safety issues, and staffing gaps
- Collaborate with senior supervisors and management to align daily operations with departmental goals and expectations
- Serve as a visible leadership presence, modeling professionalism, accountability, and calm decision-making
Qualifications:
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends holiday periods and sometimes third shift to meet business needs.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience at a Supervisor level or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe office programs
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
