The Office Assistant 1 is responsible for general office management for the department, including answering and dispatching calls, completing and filing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and the creating and maintaining of associate files.
Responsibilities:
- Completes all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and reports associated with operating an area, including, but not limited to, Daily Operational Lists, Work Order reports, and Work Permit reports.
- Creates and maintains associates' files, inputting associate performance documentation and generating Job Performance Evaluation for approval by the Supervisor.
- Reviews and adjusts rest and meal periods for all department hourly employees; monitors and reviews employees' hours through a time keeping system, notifying the Supervisor or Manager on duty immediately if a concern arises.
- Answers phones and dispatches calls appropriately; assists associate and guests with questions and relays them to the appropriate member of management for assistance when necessary.
- Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Six Flags' attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags' attendance policies.
- Adheres to Six Flags' Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have prior office experience.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
