Retail Supervisor (Seasonal)

Req ID RETAI013996Position Summary: Six Flags America is seeking an organized and creative person to join our Retail team. This position oversees the daily operation of the Retail department. Areas of focus include maintaining guest service standards, visual merchandising, inventory control, and achieving revenue goals.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage an area of Retail locations including the team, revenue, and operation of the locations
- Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of merchandise inventory functions
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of all back rooms and areas within the section
- Manage team member breaks in alignment with park, state, and federal labor law guidelines
- Work closely with Warehouse to control inventory levels and maintain strategic product placement
- Oversee the Retail Photo business including ride photo, character meet-and-greets, and special events
- Perform periodic performance reviews with team members
- Coach and develop leads and team members in all areas of appropriate business to perform their role
- Delegate tasks as deemed appropriate
- Enforce all Park policies with team members and guests
- Document and report policy violations to appropriate leadership personnel
- Complete any and all task as requested by Six Flags leadership
- Other duties as assigned
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Retail and Rentals Senior Supervisor
- Reports to senior Retail leadership
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years or older
- Must be able to coach and develop Retail Leads
- High energy, self-motivated, and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation that supports an early morning shift start and/or late evening shift end
- One year of leadership experience working within retail or a comparable service industry
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Able to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
- Able to work in a team environment and have the ability to communicate with all levels of leadership
