HVAC Technician (Full Time)

Ready to keep things cool (or warm) behind the scenes? Join the crew at Six Flags America as an HVAC Technician! We’re on the lookout for someone who knows their way around heating and cooling systems. From fixing up motors and swapping out compressors to keeping boilers and ventilation systems in top shape, you’ll play a big role in making sure our park runs smoothly and stays comfortable.

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ice house equipment

• Maintain and assist in the control energy management systems

• Respond to service calls and expedite repairs

• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules

• Maintain records of equipment installed and removed

• Maintain and repair make-up exhaust air handling units, including fans and motors

• Maintain and repair chiller units and associated equipment

• Work with various departments to ensure safe and timely repairs are completed

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• At least 3 years commercial, industrial HVAC experience preferred

• Current EPA license (or obtain within 6 months)

• Must be able to work varied shifts (days/nights/weekends/holidays) including ext’dhrs under all climate conditions

• Must be physically fit and able to climb stairs/ladders up to heights of 50 or more feet

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

• Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift regularly

• Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks with without supervision

• Able to provide own basic hand tools

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format
