Summary: This position is responsible for the management and overseeing of all functions of the Human Resources Department, including recruitment, hiring, training, retention, recognition, investigations, employee benefits, and operating the Employee Services Office and the Scheduling Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for high volume domestic grassroots recruitment, staffing, international worker program, training, staff development, recognition and retention
  • Ensure Team Member schedules are completed in the appropriate time frame and meet the department needs while providing a smooth process for employees
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State employment laws/regulations
  • Ensure all staff has access to available IT tools necessary to perform duties
  • Oversees staffing needs and develop recruiting pipelines to fill those needs
  • Interact with the Shared Services benefits team to facilitate programs at the park
  • Conduct workplace investigations and partner with Corporate Human Resources to appropriately address harassment, discrimination and other employee relations concerns.
  • Develop and implement employee retention programs to maintain staff morale and retain quality employees
  • Collaborate with Corporate Training and Development to implement a comprehensive training program focused on delivery of a superior guest experience and operational excellence
  • Train Supervisors on critical management and leadership skills
  • Coordinate team member communication regarding events, policy changes, park information, team member recognition and other programs
  • Operate within budgetary guidelines and complete monthly budget forecasting
  • Actively seek new ways to foster continuous improvement within areas of responsibility in order to provide a high quality, professional, consistent, and cohesive service to all Team Members
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years supervisory or managerial experience
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred
  • Experience executing labor laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work productively across various departments
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Flexible Schedule required including nights, weekends, and holidays
