Responsibilities:
- Adhere to, communicate, and train all corporate/park guidelines and standard procedures.
- Create,developand conduct all training/development programs within the department.
- Responsible for the overall physical security of Six FlagsOver Georgia.
- Establish andmaintaincohesive working relationships with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Monitor and communicate security related trends and recommendappropriate responses.
- Determineappropriate schedulingand staffing of seasonal staff.
- Ensure guest & employee compliance with state law, corporate policies, and park-specific policies.
- Oversee the on-going in-service training of personnel through roll calls and individual conferences.
- Determineand ensureappropriate responsesto disturbances and other security related incidents.
- Ensure Security compliance to all company and department policies and procedures.
- Serve as a Park Guest Service Ambassador and work to resolve all guest concerns brought to your attention.
- Monitor team member demeanor and performance; reward, motivate, and/or reprimand as needed.
- Conduct daily audits to ensuresafetyof guests is beingmetand team members are reaching or exceeding service standards of performance.
- Review all security related incident reports for accuracy and completion.
- Develop andmaintaineffective lost & found, key control, and access control programs.
- Perform all otherduties asassigned by Park leadership.
Payrate: up to $17.50/hr
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the company. Qualifications:
- Keeping safety the main attraction while ensuring every shift runs smoother than a roller coaster track!
- 1–2 years of supervisory experience in security, preferably within theme park or high-volume operations
- Experienced in overseeing daily security functions and supporting safe park operations
- Skilled in training seasonal officers on procedures, emergency response, and guest interaction standards
- Ability to monitor staffing levels and coordinate team assignments efficiently
- Experienced in handling disturbances, theft investigations, and medical response calls
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Maintains a positive, professional image in fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
- Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to complete and obtain certification in security-related training
- Physically capable of standing, walking, crouching, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
