A strong leader committed to keeping every shift running smoothly and safely. This position is directly responsible for the operations of the Six Flags Over Georgia Security Department. This position will prepare work schedules, performs inspections, and assists guests/employees in the park.

Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform all duties and responsibilities of an Ambassador and Officer while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and guest service.
- Assist with department and site-specific training for newly hired Officers.
- Conduct audits, skills assessments, and performance reviews with Officers to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
- Ensure guest and employee compliance with applicable state laws, corporate policies, department procedures, and park-specific policies.
- Ensure Security personnel consistently comply with all company, department, and site policies and procedures.
- Monitor team member demeanor, conduct, and performance; recognize and reward strong performance while providing coaching, corrective action, or disciplinary recommendations when necessary.
- Conduct daily operational and safety audits to ensure guest safety requirements are met and team members consistently achieve or exceed established service standards.
- Serve as a Park Guest Service Ambassador by providing exceptional customer service and effectively addressing and resolving guest concerns.
- Collaborate with Park leadership and department personnel to maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for guests and employees.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Park leadership.
You will have the opportunity to apply and interview for Security Lead, Security Supervisor, or Sr. Supervisor position.
Payrate: up to $17.50/hr
Qualifications:
- Passionate about helping others and committed to supporting the needs of guests and associates.
- Ability to work effectively and interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean and satisfactory driving record.
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to help ensure smooth, efficient operations throughout each shift.
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in security, preferably in a theme park, entertainment venue, or other high-volume operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing daily security operations and supporting safe and efficient park operations.
- Experience training seasonal or newly hired Officers on security procedures, emergency response protocols, guest service expectations, and professional conduct.
- Experience responding to and managing disturbances, theft investigations, medical emergencies, and other security-related incidents.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor, and serve as a role model in fast-paced and challenging environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, associates, Officers, and leadership.
- Computer proficient, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and varying operational schedules.
- Ability and willingness to complete and maintain required security-related training and certifications.
- Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as crouching, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
