Overview:

The Marketing and Sales Director, Park leads a team of professionals in developing strategic sales and marketing efforts and initiatives to drive annual attendance, admissions revenue and total park EBITDA goals, working in collaboration with the Park President and the Support Center team.


Responsibilities:
  • Leads marketing planning and direction for all ticket sales, season pass programs and communications initiatives that drive annual attendance, admissions revenue and total park EBITDA goals. Creates the park annual strategic marketing plan, reviews, writes and presents roadmaps and integrated communications tactical plans to Support Center stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Directs, advises and supervises a fulltime team sales and marketing professionals to identify and deliver new sources of incremental visitors and year over year growth by collaborating with Corporate partners on marketing communications earned and owned efforts, paid advertising & promotions, consumer product, pricing and program development, tickets sales partnerships, special event creation and group sales programs.
  • Oversees the park’s branding, advertising and media agency relationship in partnership with the Support Center; directs park advertising creative and media spend and plans.
  • Leads park strategic pricing and new admission product recommendations annually, working with the Corporate Business Planning team; creates financial proformas and analysis presentations to park and corporate executive leadership. Provides forecasts and analysis of business trends on an ongoing basis; recommends reactionary efforts based on monthly and quarterly business results.
  • Advises the Park President on new product concepts, attractions and guest experiences based on consumer insights and overall impact for driving park attendance and revenue. Ideates new guest and marketing opportunities and provides recommendation for implementation.
  • Negotiates and leads execution of key new partnerships, promotions or marketing/guest experience initiatives.
  • Oversees financial responsibility for admission revenues and operational, advertising and labor expense budget.
  • Represents the park at local and regional industry and tourism events and works to create collaborative synergies and supportive marketing partnerships and cooperative efforts.

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience Required


•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Business or a related field.
•10+ years of progressive leadership experience
•Proficient at Microsoft Office - Excel, Powerpoint emphasis. Strong leadership, analytical skills and presentation capabilities.
