JOB SUMMARY:
Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking a high-energy and creative individual to join the Entertainment team. This person will be primarily responsible for the supervision of the Entertainment department’s character program.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- Supervise and provide leadership to seasonal Entertainment team.
- Manage Warner Brother performance quality control of all venues and acts appearing in Theme Park.
- Assist in the production of park entertainment, including all character meet-and-greets, special events, Fright Fest, and Holiday in the Park.
- Oversee the daily operation of costumed characters and ambassadors.
- Provide creativity in the development of park entertainment, including live shows, theatre acts, and themed events.
- Perform periodic performance evaluations of entertainment staff.
- Train, audit, and adhere to all labor laws and guidelines to ensure full compliance with Federal, State, and Park regulations.
- Model and enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Park leadership.
Payrate: $17/hr.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience in theme park entertainment is required, with previous management experience preferred.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be ability to multitask.
- Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
- Theatrical lighting and sound experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel frequently throughout full shift and lift up to forty pounds occasionally.
