Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is a critical partner to the business and will assist in influencing talent acquisition recruiting strategy, onboarding and execution. It is expected that the Talent Acquisition Business Partner will collaborate, deliver results, and earn trust with peers, hiring managers, business operations, and HR leaders at all levels. You will partner effectively and cross-functionally with shared service teams such as HR People and Culture peers, Finance, Information Technology, and many other key internal partner groups within the enterprise. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is considered a business consultant who brings operational excellence and creative ideas to multi-faceted, competitive challenges. You will be trusted with responsibility and ownership for securing the company's most business-critical asset – talent. Close offers with bar-raising talent, who are most often passive, and create programmatic approaches to the attraction, screening, selection, and onboarding of talent. You will work as a team to identify and execute best practice sourcing strategies to reach diverse populations and deliver optimal results.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business leadership to build effective outreach, assessment and deliver strategies to attract bar raising talent
• Drive intake process with hiring managers, interview process with candidates, calibration, and candidate negotiation
• Assist with stakeholder communication (pipeline and measurable success metrics reporting)
• Partner with hiring manager and internal team to drive internal operational efficiencies and specialized search initiatives
• Sourcing and partnering with external vendors to support the overall growth goals
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with leaders across varying degrees of seniority and functional groups, both externally and internally
• Leverage data to analyze hiring trends to proactively recommend and drive hiring plans and initiatives to meet needs
• Monitor activities and performance of external contract recruiters, as needed
• Participate in regular, monthly, effectiveness reviews to discuss and accept coaching around performance in general and for a specific engagement
• Monitors individual recruitment performance and effectiveness and accuracy
• Participates in meetings and in training on policy process and systems and ensure compliance
• Coach and mentor coworkers on internal recruitment processes, policies, and systems.
• Accepts coaching, set deadlines, ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures
• Willing to follow the Six Flags standards of conduct and put candidate experience at the forefront
• Lead by example and offer guidance, tools, and resources
• Address client concerns as needed
• Participate in offsite career fairs and events
• Special projects and other duties as needed
• Manage change effectively
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Two - Four years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including at least 2 years as a recruiter
• Proven ability aligning talent acquisition strategy and candidate attraction with the company’s culture, business priorities, and strategies
• Proven ability to manage change while evaluating current processes and driving continuous improvement
• Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities in parallel
• Ability to be coached and mentored
• Capability to “roll up sleeves” and personally deliver results
• Outstanding skills/knowledge in ATS and career/sourcing tools
• Experience managing multiple openings at various levels and locations within the business, supporting several hiring managers concurrently
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills (oral and written)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience with common sourcing tools (i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Travel required: 10%

• Experience with high volume recruiting
• Experience with iCIMS and Text Recruit preferred
• Excellent leadership skills
• Proven capability to source talent
• Strong financial, analytical, and budgeting acumen
• Previous experience in data analytics and producing various reports
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth organization
• Strong presentation skills
