JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the operation of the Ride Maintenance areas including repair and maintenance, preventative maintenance, service calls, training, scheduling of work and adherence to all safety, park and departmental policies.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Three years prior experience as a ride mechanic at a Six Flags Theme Park or the equivalent preferred
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license
• Possess a thorough operational understanding of maintenance procedures to include State and OEM requirements
• Have the capability to access all areas of the park (to include confined spaces and heights above 200ft); must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of bending, squatting and kneeling
• Possess a thorough working knowledge of the operation of hand and power tools, heavy equipment, etc. and train others on the safe usage of equipment
• Have the capability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
