The Warehouse Area Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the park’s central warehouse. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating warehouse receiving operations, ensuring controls and compliance for product quality and accuracy for all items delivered to the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and ensure completion of daily receiving of shipments into the warehouse. Review and validate receiving documentation and exceptions (POs/packing slips) and ensure associates perform inspections of incoming merchandise. Report the results of the inspection of the quality and accuracy of incoming merchandise, food products, beverages, and supplies to food and beverage and merchandise departments. Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or missing items and coordinate resolution with the Warehouse Manager, retail and food teams, and vendors. Ensure receiving standards are followed for labeling, dating, and storage through audits, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
• Support the Warehouse Manager by coordinating and monitoring daily warehouse operations, including storage controls, picking accuracy, and delivery preparation through team oversight and process management. Coordinate the movement and organization of products within the warehouse to maintain efficient storage systems. Ensure products are properly rotated and stored to maintain quality and compliance, particularly for food and beverage items. Support the preparation and delivery of products to departments across the park including food stands, retail locations, games, and operational areas.

• Direct and supervise seasonal warehouse staff during daily operations. Train seasonal employees on warehouse procedures, safety practices, product handling, and equipment use.
Assign daily tasks such as receiving, stocking, inventory movement, and delivery preparation.
Monitor team performance and ensure productivity and operational standards are, authorize qualified operators and address unsafe behaviors immediately.

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with company safety policies and applicable health regulations. Monitor proper storage of food and beverage products to meet health department standards. Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely and correctly, including pallet jacks, forklifts, vehicles, and other material handling tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with inventory organization and stock control. Help maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation related to receiving and product movement.
Communicate supply or receiving issues to the Warehouse Manager and assist in resolving operational challenges. Support seasonal operational needs and assist with workflow adjustments during peak periods. Directs the daily activities of associates to ensure an efficient and safe operation.

• Responsible for enforcing all park policies and procedures including the enforcement of all uniform and grooming standards. Administer corrective action as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations, receiving, or inventory management
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with park warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Candidate should be detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must possess basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems (Aptos, Query Design, Eatec, Optim8, etc.).
  • Must be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and complete non-routine tasks as assigned
  • Ability to work in warehouse environments including refrigerated storage areas when required.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
    Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Must possess a valid PA driver’s license and a clear driving record
