Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
As a Makeup Artist supporting the Fright Fest event at Six Flags New England…
Audition/Interview Dates and Information:
- July 26 & 27; 11-3pm @ the Six Flags New England Human Resources Office
- August 1; 5-8pm & August 2; 11-3pm @ the Six Flags New England Human Resources Office
All applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their best scaring abilities, including a zombie walk. Make-up artists should bring a portfolio of their work.

You’ll contribute to our mission by:
- Supporting the Six Flags Mantra – Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
- Understanding and executing make-up and special effects designs as directed
- Learning the various roles in our Haunted Attractions, Midway Haunts, and our Shows so proper makeup design can be applied
You’ll do it with your:
- Previous experience in makeup application required
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety
- Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently with little supervision
- Sense of fun & creativity
- Friendly, outgoing personality, and ability to address guest concerns
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
You’ll know you’re ready if you are:
- Willing to work in a high-performance team environment
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
- Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- 18 years old or older
