Overview:

Oversee the Associate Services Operation and Seasonal Payroll which includes uniform distribution/sales/inventory, front-line customer service, and payroll administration for our 4,000 seasonal associates. 


Responsibilities:

Associate Services:

  • Work with Area Manager to hire, train and develop the Associate Services team; provide ongoing feedback, support, corrective action, and motivation; prepare weekly schedules and meet projected labour budget goals.
  • Oversee the “On-boarding” process to ensure efficient and accurate processing of seasonal and full-time associates including Security Access Cards, Parking Passes, and uniform distribution/sales.
  • Participate in the Associate Services Duty Program including daily retail operation (i.e., uniform items, food program, sundries etc.) and opening/closing procedures.
  • Oversee daily operational tasks including locker/change room maintenance, laundry & uniform programs, aisle & data maintenance, food/snack program, and guest service (in person and over the phone).
  • Monitor the daily front counter activity and service procedures including in-coming and out-going uniform items, completion of paperwork, distribution of promotional tickets, direct deposit set-up, and general associate inquiries.
  • Program cash registers and ensure POS, debit & credit procedures and controls are in place.
  • Oversee deductions/refunds/adjustments process; liaise with CW leadership and corporate payroll on all payroll procedures and inventory levels.

Inventory:

  • Monitor inventory levels of all uniform items and Associate Services supplies.
  • Use the Inventory Tracking process to keep track of inventory levels on uniform items.
  • Assist with year-end Inventory of all uniform & resale items and update inventory database.

Qualifications:

Previous Associate/Employment Services or HR experience is an asset.

  • Previous retail and/or supervisory experience is required.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with a proven ability to multi-task, organize and meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Demonstrate a professional manner and strong decision making and problem-solving ability.
  • Work flexible shifts and full-time hours including nights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel in addition to data entry skills.
