Job Description
- Supervise Human Resources daily operations to include assisting with employee investigations, employee concerns, and other issues requiring Human Resources intervention.
- Track and analyze statistical employment data to coordinate targeted recruitment efforts.
- Ensure hiring, discipline, rewards/recognition, and termination decisions are consistent with park, state, and federal guidelines and laws.
- Perform periodic performance reviews with staff.
- Maintain Associate Life Portal with up-to-date housing, dining and retail, events, and resources.
- Maintain working knowledge of the following systems: UKG pro, iCIMS, Dayforce, Equifax, and Optim8.
- Oversee the management of paper and electronic filing systems including organization, retention, and destruction.
- Ensure effective communication of park policies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Recruit qualified candidates to the Human Resources team by screening and interviewing applicants in a timely manner
- Conduct orientation for international employees covering Park policies, Park tour, program expectations, and housing. Plan and coordination cultural exchange events.
- Assess Park staffing needs, interview schedule, and applicant traffic through the applicant tracking Systems.
- Coordinate with International visa sponsors to develop placement agreements and establish j-1 visa work contracts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Reports directly to Human Resources Manager
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- At least two years of Human Resources management experience is required. Proficiency in California labor laws is preferred.
- Experience developing and presenting trainings to multi-level groups.
- Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of Human Resources documents and other proprietary information.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
Must have the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to forty pounds
