Overview:

This position oversees the daily operations of the Entertainment & Events Division and provides leadership to all hourly team members. The role supports the development and execution of initiatives that enhance guest experience, employee development, and the work environment. Serving as the primary point of contact for internal park management, they collaborate on plans that align with company objectives and support cross‑departmental initiatives.


Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership to division staff to continually improve the operation, the work environment, efficiency, Guest satisfaction, and safety.
Develops the ability of the department to respond to changes in the business environment.
- Provides input for long-term and short-term division goals.
- Ensure division compliance with Department of Labor laws and guidelines.
- Lead all assigned areas of production on shows and events in order to provide high-quality products.
- Maintain consistency with department goals for quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Enforce all park policies, procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
- Co-chairs Entertainment staff meetings, production update meetings and planning sessions.
- Continually monitors Seasonal leadership performance.
- Assist with allocating division resources effectively to positively impact Guest Services and the Team Member experience.
- Assist with the development and managing division budgets for Entertainment & Events. Expected to communicate any significant
adjustments including overages, new opportunities, or forecast changes to the Division Director.
- Assists with the completion of monthly forecasts.
- All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- Strong motivational, leadership, and team building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Minimum four (4) years of theme park leadership experience as a decision-maker
- College degree preferred.
- Must have a strong understanding of the Live Entertainment production process.
- An ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation, as well as through established systems.
- Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.
- Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- A valid California Driver's License and High School Diploma or valid GED
- Ability to perform various physical activities, such as lifting, carrying items and climbing
