Overview:

Front Gate Supervisor (FGS) will ensure fast, friendly and welcoming service to our Guests. FGS’s will have direct oversight of Front Gate Leads overseeing their assigned section(s) including Ticket/Season Pass Sales, Turnstiles, Parking, Lost & Found, Greeter and Guest Relations; assisting where needed. FGS’s will assist the Front Gate Managerial on coaching and guiding the Front Gate team. This is a seasonal position from May-September.

Pay: $18.00/Hr


Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all aspects of the Front Gate to include staffing, training, and daily operations.
  • Ensure hiring and onboarding has been completed through the Operations Administrative team
  • Ensures all daily paperwork, employee trainings, and all other documents are completed and filed
  • Ensures all guest inquiries and cases are cared for in a timely manner
  • Creates and post department schedules through Operations Administrative team
  • Creates and maintains a positive, high performance team culture generating increased retention, motivation, and team morale
  • Creates achievable goals for department sections
  • Handling and resolving guest questions regarding park policies and procedures 
  • Troubleshooting computer issues for processing stations  
  • Calculating and documenting the hourly guest attendance
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Maintain Six Flags' Guest First Standards
  • Conducting audits to measure department success
  • Communicating team or park related concerns to the Operations Supervisor 
  • Enforcing all Six Flags policies 
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or as necessary to support the Front Gate Department and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Analytical problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • A clear demonstration of excellent Guest Service skills and an evident commitment to our Guest First philosophy
  • Adhere to Park Attendance Policy as stated in the Six Flags Seasonal Handbook
  • The availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time outdoors in various weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat and sun
