- In-Park Duties and Responsibilities
- Interact and support guests, fellow team members, and unit management on a daily basis
- Assists in controlling Cost of Goods by monitoring usage, portioning, and waste
- Complete food preparation with the use of standard kitchen utensils and equipment
- Utilize thermometers to frequently test and document the internal temperatures of product; perform quality checks
- Maintain work locations within Health Department and Safety guidelines
- Assign cleaning tasks to unit management and follow up to ensure completion (Ex.: Fryer & Ice cream machine)
- Assist with assembling and serving a quality food product to the Guest in a timely manner by following the recipe; ensuring that the location has all products available that are needed to service the Guests
- Maintain a safe work environment and aid in the elimination of hazards; utilize and ensure the team uses personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
- Train and provide feedback to unit management on food storage while following HACCP
- Follow up with unit management to ensure food safety paperwork is being completed daily
- Assist the retail team with unit upkeep including cleanliness, restocking and displaying
- Follow and complete all inventory control functions including verifying receivers, damages, and transfers
- Oversee uniform sales to team members ensuring they receive all required pieces for their department
- Follow and complete opening and closing checklists
- Ensure that all paperwork for all units such as waste logs, transfer forms, and weekly inventory are completed to help manage cost of sales
- Ensure all team members are correctly using EAS and are following EAS policies regarding accurate clock in/out times and break guidelines
- Assist the IPS Manager with updating service logs and creating corrective action forms by tracking daily attendance
- Continuously monitor department scheduling needs and ensure all schedules are posted three weeks in advance
- Complete Seasonal Evaluations
- Assist in facilitating rehire/new hire department training sessions and management trainings
- Provide corrective action as needed, train and provide feedback to team members/management
- Ensure team is following all policies and procedures by continuously training and providing feedback to team members and supervisors
- Oversee all IPS locations during duty shifts scheduled by department manager
- Assist with pre-season and post-season cleaning and inventory tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old, 21+ preferred
- Experience in a previous food service or retail leadership position is preferred
- Must be available weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Work Season: Mid-April – Early October (Work available during this range, can be flexible for school)
- Must be professional, self-motivated, and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
- Able to be self-motivated and work independently with little assistance
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours at a time
- Must provide valid ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification or complete course upon hiring
- Must provide ServSafe Food Allergen certification or complete course upon hiring
- 21+ must complete ServSafe Alcohol training
