Req ID SUPAQ013521Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee all operational functions related to the safe and effective operation of Hurricane Harbor
· Ensure 100% compliance with all Water Park standard operating procedures as they relate to Six Flags Standardization
· Ensure the proper staffing levels are maintained and assists in specialized recruiting when appropriate
· Assist with the creation and maintenance of the operating budget for the Operations departments
· Directly supervises all seasonal Hurricane Harbor Operations Supervisors and Team Members
· Responsible for maintaining compliance with all Six Flags standards and enforcing park policies & procedures
· Supervise seasonal team members, including hiring, discipline, rewards/recognition, and termination decisions
· Responsible for ensuring completion of team member evaluations and associated merit and promotional opportunities associated with performance review of seasonal staff
· Responsible for tracking and operating within labor and expense budgets
· Responsible for interacting with Guests, resolving complaints, and addressing concerns
· Coordinate and assist with off-season activities to include training, recruiting, and winterization functions
· Ensure 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures as they relate to Six Flags standardization and/or Federal or State guidelines
· Train, audit and adhere to all labor laws and guidelines to ensure full compliance with Federal, State, and park regulations
· Commitment to department, park, and company standards
· Assist Entertainment in the set up & Operation of Fright Fest
· Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and Director
Skills and Qualifications:
· Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTP) Special Facilities Certification
· Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTP) Instructor Certification
· Will be required to work up to six days per week during operating season, including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication
· Superior front line customer service focus required
· Must possess strong leadership, motivational, interpersonal, and organizational skills
· Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
· Occasional travel for training, and assistance at sister properties may be required
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
· An AFO or CPO certification, preferred
