Overview:

This is a vacant position. 

Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide guests with exceptional service when they visit the park.

You’ll also…

  • Responsible to assist the Area Manager with all recruitment and hiring initiatives for department
  • Assist with the development, design and execution of all creative initiatives as assigned
  • Assist Area Manager with budgets as needed
  • Supervise all assigned associates in the Creative Services Department and ensure proper adherence to all current company and departmental procedures and to all current Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
  • Responsible for the set-up, execution/operation, and strike of all special events within the park including Halloween Haunt and Winterfest.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling, training, development and performance appraisals
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining all departmental resources and facilities
  • Delegate, implement and document all new projects as assigned
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • You!
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in technical theatre with major studies in technical direction and/or significant experience in a related technical field
  • Knowledge of audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment required
  • Computer literacy is required
  • Competency with tools and equipment
  • Driver's Licence (G/G2) with clean abstract is required
  • Previous management experience is required
  • Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holidays
