This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years for this position.

You’ll also…
- Perform routine fire and safety inspections including but not limited to: Fire Extinguisher, Sprinkler Systems, Food Fire Suppression Systems, Fall Protection Equipment, Hazardous Waste & Bulk storage, Building safety, Spill Contingency and Personal Protective Equipment
- Respond to and assist with Emergency Scene Management, Ride Evacuations, Safety Investigations and provide guest and/or associate assistance as necessary
- Conduct weekly fire/safety drills at locations in the park
- Perform follow-up inspections for corrective action and report continued safety issues to the appropriate department and Safety Manager
- Partner with departments to assist with creating solutions to safety concerns
- Assist with the regular maintenance of emergency equipment
- Operate and maintain emergency response vehicles and associated equipment
- Complete and maintain timely and accurate audit and inspection documentation in an orderly and efficient manner
- Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with associates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision

Qualifications:
- You!
- Someone currently enrolled and/or a graduate of a post-secondary Fire Safety program
- Possession of a current advanced First Aid/CPR certification
- Knowledge of Ontario Fire and Building Codes, NFPA Standards, and Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
- Previous experience in firefighting, first responder, and/or fire extinguisher maintenance experience would be considered an asset
- Someone with a valid Ontario’s Driver’s License (G/G2) and can provide a driver’s abstract.
