WHAT WE PROVIDE:

This is a Full-Time, year-round position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As an Admissions Operations Managerial Supervisor at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, you'll lead the daily operations of key areas, from toll plazas to guest services, ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience. You'll drive team performance, manage ticket and pass sales, and oversee staff training and scheduling to meet operational goals. HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

  • Leadership: Act as the Admissions Manager on Duty, making major operational decisions and ensuring smooth operations across all Admissions areas (toll plaza, front gate entry, and guest services).
  • Budget Management: Adhere to and enforce operating expense budgets.
  • Guest Experience: Prioritize guest needs to deliver an outstanding experience.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive work environment while holding supervisors and team members accountable for attendance, performance, cleanliness, and meeting departmental goals.
  • Sales Operations: Support ticket and pass sales while ensuring the team meets sales objectives.
  • Guest Correspondence: Assist with Salesforce cases, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Training: Collaborate with the training supervisor to ensure team members are properly certified and equipped for success.
  • Scheduling: Work with the scheduling supervisor to maintain adequate staffing levels for daily operations and special events.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, team members, and department heads to advance departmental initiatives.
  • Park Standards: Uphold all park standards for safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Event Awareness: Stay informed about park-wide events and assist as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and varied shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess the ability to work independently and manage high level tasks and projects
  • Commitment to the “Guest First” philosophy
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred

OTHER NOTES:

  • May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole.
  • Reports to the Full-Time Admissions Supervisor.

Complexity of Duties

Responsible for departmental oversight and direct supervision of supervisors and associates, requiring strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
SupervisionMust be able to effectively and independently complete tasks, while directly supervising supervisors and associates and overseeing a large team. Reports to the Full-Time Admissions Supervisor.
Errors/SafetyMust maintain high attention to detail to ensure guest safety, regulatory compliance, and operational integrity across the Admissions Department.
Contact with OthersFrequent interaction with team members, guests, corporate partners, and vendors to achieve business and guest experience goals.
Confidential DataHandles sensitive financial, personnel, and guest-related information that must be managed with integrity and discretion.
Visual and Mental DemandRequires normal visual and strong attention to detail, mental focus, and situational awareness, especially in fast-paced environments and when making data-driven decisions to enhance park revenue.
Physical DemandRequires regular physical activity, including walking throughout the park, standing for extended periods, and lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Must move between various indoor and outdoor locations in all weather conditions.
Working ConditionsWorks both indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions; may require work during weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on park operating schedule.
