Sr SUP, Aquatics

Summary: Senior Supervisors manage the day-to-day operation of Hurricane Harbor, as well as coordinating all training programs within the department. The Senior Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and conducting a daily audit program for the waterpark. This position is accountable for delivering a superior guest experience, while enforcing all park policies and procedures.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing day to day operations of Hurricane Harbor  
• Coordinating all training conducted within the waterpark including but not limited to: Aquatics General Certification, Standard Operating Procedure Training,  Ellis & Associates ILTP, and In-service trainings  
• Training, certifying, and evaluating safety standards set by Six Flags and Ellis & Associates
• Maintaining certification paperwork, database, and all correspondence regarding training and certification of team members 
• Organizing and auditing team members on a daily basis 
• Adhering to bio-hazardous waste disposal procedures and perform all related duties in compliance with fecal matter exposure policy 
• Completing and reviewing all required supervisory paperwork on a daily basis 
• Participating in Ellis & Associate review sessions during operational risk management audits 
• Preparing mock emergency drills with Operations Manager to assess overall water park readiness for aquatic emergencies 
• Enforcing all Six Flags policies 
• Assisting in other areas of the Aquatics Department 
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• At least 18 years old 
• Ellis & Associates ILTP Instructor license
• Ellis & Associates EAVS Operator Instructor license (be willing to obtain)
• Must have the ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language 
• Previous lifeguard experience required 
• Previous Aquatic management experience  
• Paperwork management and organizational skills
